History Change Frame

The History Change Frame is a teaching strategy that I could use in my future art classroom for my students to learn the different art movements. I could have my students use this type of chart during their reading assignments to write in the information as they read. I would have to alter the chart to focus more on my content area which could include dates/time periods, important artists, historical events, artist’s influences, and subject matter in the art work. I like how the students can compare and contrast different art movements using this teaching strategy. I can integrate this strategy into my lessons over art history. I would want to incorporate this strategy within my lesson planning because this assignment allows the students to create their own notes and organize them as they are reading.
